Searching for hibernate style locked session logoff.

Does anybody know if there is software out there that allows in a domain
environment a way to logoff a locked user session that will save the users
current running environment for restore at next logon?

Three scenarios where this would be useful:
1. Needing to administratively logoff a locked user session in which there
may be an unsaved, and as of yet, unamed (Document1) Word or Excel file.

2. Distributing and applying system updates (through SMS or SUS) during off
hours and forcing a reboot to apply updates when a user may have numerous
items open on a locked session desktop.

3. Secured desktop multi-user environment.

With a hibernate style logoff, one does not have to worry about any unsaved
data. At logoff current running environment memory and open files, etc. are
written to disk so other work can be performed. When the user comes back to
logon, the session is reloaded from disk and restored to the condition they
left it in. Something like the hibernate function where the entire system is
powered off but current environment is saved to disk beforehand.
