Searching by date offset from today in OL2007?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if it's possible, in OL2007, to setup a search folder
that uses a date offset, similar to:

"Search for all items that were received between 1 week ago and 4
weeks ago" (i.e., all items that are between 1 week old and 4 weeks
old)

I realise I can hard-code the actual dates into the criteria for a
search folder, but I would like to achieve something that doesn't use
actual dates, but instead uses date offsets from 'today'.

Okay, just to reply to my own question, in case someone else is
looking for an answer to this question in the future.

Apparently the Advanced search criteria will accept (some?) natural
language search terms.

So, to help my own workflow, I've now set up 3 new search folders:

1. "@Investigations" -- Criteria = Received in the last 7 days
2. "@Forensics" -- Criteria = Received between 12:00am 6 days ago and
28 days ago
3. "@Cold cases" -- Criteria = Received on or before 29 days ago

So, @Investigations contain what I think of as 'active' emails -- ones
that I should be attempting to action now. @Forensics contains
slightly older emails -- if I haven't actioned / replied to emails in
this folder, I give some thought to whether or not there's any benefit
remaining in doing so now. @Cold cases, allows me to narrow out aging
emails, perfect for archiving or searching for legacy issues and
perhaps mining for future revisiting etc.

I'm sure these could be fine-tuned / enhanced in interesting and
useful ways.
