How would I do searches, both internal, on my computer only, and external,
for example with Google, and receive results only for the EXACT TERM that I
am searching for?

I dislike windows search so often use the command window
if you
start
run
CMD
then in the window
cd\
dir "your file name and extension" \s (without quotes eg dir
cmd.exe /s)

the whole disk will be searched for cmd.exe files only

try
dir /?
for help too
