Search results problems

When I type in the EXACT file name and click "search" it finds "no results."
I have tested it several different ways with different known file names or
topics... searching under file names and/or words within the files. It is
set to search Drive C... shouldn't that cover everything I've filed on my
hard drive?

Why do I keep getting "no results?"

I have that same problem. I switched over to my root administer account
and did the search and it worked fine. My regular user account has
administer priveleges so I'm on this group looking for the same answer.
One thing that I did and I don't know if it caused the problem is that I
changed the search application from the little dog to the old style
because I liked it better but I kept the little dog style on my root
account.

As BL said, have you made sure Search is set to search hidden files and
folders?
