search problems

I've set up a database for student information for my classes, but can't
figure out how I can type into a field and recieve the information for that
file. For example, how do I fix it so I can type in a student ID number and
recieve all the information for that student?

Read the help file and look at the Northwind database.

Think of vendors as students and vendor products as the other student data.
