Search not working

I upgraded my Win98SE to WinXP Home, using the upgrade. When I try to use
Search, I get the Search Companion, After typing in a name in files or
folders I get a Search Companion box in the right pane with a yellow
Exclamation point in it. I have no idea what is causing this error but am
unable to search for anything. Any one have an idea what my problem may be?

Bill,

Click Start, Run and type "REGSVR32 /i SHELL32"
Restart Windows. If that does not help, see:
