Does anyone know of a way to modify the default settings
of the "Search in Files and Folders" process so that
the "Look in:" field will automatically set to a users
home directory?

Thanks in advanced for any suggestions.

The way to accomplish that is to save a search routine and then place the shortcut on the Desktop or in the Quick Launch bar.

To get to a subfolder for a search, launch Windows Explorer, then select the folder and search from there.

After a successful search, click on File | Save Search, then follow the prompts.

Thank you, Eric...this is a perfect suggestion for this
particular environment!
