Search History file

I would like to clear out items that I have searched for
in the past. Not being able to do this made it
impossible to hide suprise items I bought for my wife off
the internet at christmas time. Every time she would
search for an item, it would also show other items I had
searched for. Can anyone tell me what file to delete? I
have cleared, cookies, history and temp file, but they
are not the one i need to clear.

Hi Dickster,

that's usually done with clearing the history (I just tested this to confirm).

However you'd also be able to clear all temporary files using the files-button
on the Internet properties page.

For future questions please make sure that you post to the right group since
this question is about Internet Explorer and not Active Directory.
