Search has changed

Ok MS or anyone! Why has the IE6 search panel suddenly lost most of it's
previous cool functionality? No more people, word or business search options.
No more multiple search engine searches either. And now after trying MSN's
new search toolbar I only can select MSN as a serach engine in the side
bar!!!! Arrrgh! This seems to be affecting alot of people. Even on Win98 ME
and 2000. Why was it changed? Can I have it back??? Please???

I have the same problem . Anyone know why??? My computer was ok on
Feb25th when i went away on vacation. Turned it back on when I returned
on March 14th . My search has changed . I did a virus scan and its OK ,
I did a spyware scan and its ok
No new software added ,No toolbars added , Nothing changed that I know
about. Any ideas as to what is going on?????????????. Should Microsoft
send out some sort of info bulletin or update?

Microsoft changed something and now the search feature as we knew it doesn't
work. It seems that Microsoft is the only one that can fix it. Doesn't
look like it is going to happen.

Is there a way to talk to microsoft or try to get a reason for this .
You would think they would let people know by way of a bulletin if they
were changing something so major. Many people are trying so many things
that could screw up their systems just to try and get the old search
back . At least if they told people we could forget about it and just
accept it.

No one seems to know what is going on at this point. Lots of us are waiting
for Microsoft to say something about why the search was changed.
