Search function sometimes doesn't work

Sometimes when I select Search from the Start menu it says that some
component of search wasn't found and I may have to run Setup. Other times
search works fine. Any clues? And how do I run Setup for Search? Which
Setup?

regsvr32 /i %systemroot%\srchasst\srchui.dll
