Search Form turns up results for pages that no longer exist

The "Search" Form on my home page turns up names of pages that no longer
exist anywhere. Some haven't existed for years. They've been carefully
deleted from my website and are not just lost unlinked pages. Of course it
says "File Not Found" when you click on them, but this seems very
unprofessional.
Can anyone help me figure out what to do?

(Also does anyone how can you control the font and size of the Search
Results window?) Plus, the "Reset" button doesn't do a darn thing.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help!!

Open your online remote web in FrontPage. Then, Tools | Recalculate
hyperlinks. You must do this anytime you make changes to a page, add, or
delete one.

If Tom's suggestion doesn't work and you are hosted on Windows IIS with Index Server, you host needs
to delete and re-create the Index Catalog for your site.

The Reset button is not a Clear button, it does what it says - it Resets
the form to the condition it was in when the page loaded.
When you first load the page, the form field will be empty. Type anything
into it and click Reset, and the field will be emptied.
Type in a keyword and click Submit. The form is reloaded (with search
results) and the field will contain the keyword. Delete the keyword, and
type in anything else, click reset and the keyword will be replaced.
