My search page can be found on URL below
http://www.habcraft.co.uk/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/search_page.htm

I am unable to pull up any results when I search for the word 'fabric' -
this is wierd as I have a full page devoted to this products and I can count
the word 'fabrics' appearingabout 8 times - see URL below
http://www.habcraft.co.uk/fabric.htm

I would have expected this page to appear at the top of my search results,
in fact it doesn't appear at all.
clearly I have missed something in setting the search page up - can you
advise an action I can take now to resolve this?

Thank you for taking a look at my question

You say you are "unable to pull up any results when I search for the word
'fabric'"

However, I get 19 pages.

Did you add the fabric.htm page after you had already set up the previous
pages and published the web? Then, republished to add the fabric.htm page?

If so, did you recalculate the hyperlinks on the host server?

As Tom said, I get 19 pages when searching for fabric or fabrics, but
fabric.htm is not among them. On the other hand, searching for Anglais
does include fabric.htm in the results.

As Tom suggests, open the remote site in FrontPage and run
Tools->Recalculate Hyperlinks. This should update the search index.

I was not clear about the results - I too get a list of 19 - however all of
these results are for other pages that have fabric mentioned - what surprised
me was tat the main page for fabric did not appear - the main fabric page has
by far the most mentions of the word fabric.
I will re calculate hyperlinks and re publish.

Thanks for your feedback

You must recalculate the hyperlinks on the live remote site, not the local
one.

It does not use keywords. It uses page titles and text.

| Question: does the FrontPage search page go by key words first, then text?

Not sure - when i set the search page up - the wizard did not offer me any
choice regarding which search elements it would search first. I gone into
form properties but cannot find any information on that subject.
