Search for Files & Folders causes Explorer to crash...

System Specs:
Dell Precision 670 + NVIDIA Quadro FX 1300
XP Pro w/SP2
All patches current

Clicking on START > Search results in Explorer.exe silently dumping out &
restarting.
Forcing NIC to 100mb/Full or 100MB/Half results in the netowrk dropping out
momentarily (as expected) and then reconnecting... after doing this Search
then works... until a reboot.
After reboot if procedure described above is repeated (forcing NIC to a
setting other than what it was) the Search function works again.

Inspecting:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Tcpip\Parameters
Yields nothing out of the ordinary...
