Search for file 'copy' on boot

Recently, Widows XP started pausing on bootup and then
puts up the following message:

Windows cannot find 'copy'. Make sure you typed the name
correctly, and then try again. To search for a file click
the Start button, and then click Search.

This happens about one every four bootups. I would really
like to know what is going on with my OS, and would
appreciate any input concerning this matter.

It might be related to the startup items.
Use msconfig/startup tab to disable them one at a time and thru a
process of elimination you should find which one it is.
(after many reboots depending on how many you have)

On the otherhand, if you disable all of them and it still
does it, could be one of the services, still getting ahead of
ourselves. Give the startup options a try first.
