I am failing to find a document in SEARCH. I know it is there somewhere. I
have tried every possible combination. I have always succeeded before. What
am I doing wrong?

Well, either it isn't there, or you haven't tried every possible
combination.

I'm afraid I don't know what you're doing wrong because I don't know what
you're doing. Could the file be flagged as hidden, or a system file?

Got it! A friend installed Open Office as "default" (which I want to get rid
of) and the document was in there. As always, thanks for being there for
thjose of us who could not get along without this kind of help!
