Search files with .cfm extension

Using XP version 2002 service pak 1 on a 3.06ghz machine
with 768 mb ram I am unable to search files ending with
a .cfm extension. Does this work for anyone else. I am
looking for simple words or phrases and each time whether
I search all files, with a word such as "http" including
subdirectories on my local drive or on the network the
message "Search is complete. There are no results to
display." appears.

I do the same type of search on .html or other files and I
get results.

XP's search utility is beyond my comprehension as regards looking for a
'string' within a file.

Anyway below is a link to where you can download a free version of
'AgentRansack', which is a search utility that I find pretty easy to use.

Patrick's recommendation is helpful. I am purchsing File
Locator Pro. It searches .cfm files well and is easy to
use.
