Why does Word not find "Text or Property" in the search
from inside the Open Files window, when I can see the word
I am searching in my word doc? I checked for blank spaces
and there were none in the Search criterion. Even though
I was specific in requesting search only in My Docs and
looking only for a word doc. What else could be wrong
that it doesn't find it OR is this just a fatal flaw in
MS' search engine, i.e. it doesn't always find things you
ask for even though it is there? I checked and double
checked spelling and spaces. Also recently, searching for
a "File Name" "includes" September, looking at a file
named: "September 3 2003 meeting notes" and the search
engine "no matches found." THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. I
need to be able to find things when I search for them.
What am I doing wrong?

Posting in the wrong group for a start - Word is *NOT* part of Windows and
therefore posting here won't solicit you the best responses. Please repost
in either a Word or Office group.
