Search Error

I'm getting an error that says you can't search the home page (index.html).
I've added a search page, on another site, with no problems. This time I
want to add the search component, on to the home page.

Can't this be done?

Hi

Just check wheather you have applied any manaul permission to this page

Workaround is to create another page, insert search component and rename it
to index.html
