Search Enigine - "page cannot be displayed" error

Matt

For some time now my 6.0 version of IE has been unable to
load search engine web pages. At first just a few pages
wouldn't load (google, dogpile, etc.). When I could
connect to a page (yahoo for example) I would get
an "error 404" message whenever i conducted a search.
Now, the only search engine I can load is msn.com, and I
still can't search, because I get the error 404. Just
today, I tried to get to edmunds.com, and I got the "page
cannot be displyed" error. I've searched the different
topics, but haven't found anything that really speaks to
this particular problem (search engine specific). If
someone could point me in the right direction on this, I'd
be greatly appreciative.

Thanks, Matt

Someone's gonna say it: have you run an up-to-date virus scanner? Next, search th
newsgroup for posts about spyware, adware, foistware, malware, and spoofing. You'l
find references to lots of Microsoft technical papers on cleaning scumware off you
computer, as well as references to anti-scumware software (both free and fee)

Any of the above _could_ be causing your problem

Cheers
