Go to www.lavasoft.de and download and run Adaware then go to www.eon.net.au
and download and run Spybot. You have spyware or possibly a Trojan on your
machine but more likely spyware. Once you have run those two programs and
rebooted, it should all be OK.
Some hijacking-type sites also just fill your hosts file
full of sh1t.
c:\windows\system32\etc\drivers\hosts
Open up in notepad and remove any garbage lines.
"127.0.0.1 Localhost" will probably be the only line you
should have, unless you have added some others.
