search does not work

if i click on search the wondow appears but i can't search
anything. the whole window is blank with new search icon
on top but it doesn't do anything. i can search on my
cable home page but not from int explorer?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
