Search Companion

Help anyone. When I click on the search button with the
magnifying glass in the tool bar, it does not give me
the "search companion" window that I'm supposed to get.
I want to be able to set it to the search engine I
prefer, but it just repeats the page that I happen to
have open. I have internet explorer 6 version and I'm a
basic computer user so this is foreign to me when things
don't work right. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
