search companion

I have somehow managed to lose the search companion from my start menu and
disabled it in the folders tool bar. If i switch log-on to a guest user the
search option is there. Please can anyone give me any suggestions on how i
might of didabled the option on my profile\settings, and how to get it
back?????

Then change preferences
