SDI2HD tool

I have followed the "Building and Deploying XP Embedded Images" Using SDI Article; everything works ok; I just have one problem; when I the image is created in the .sdi file contains exactly information regarding the Virtual Disk I used I.E HD size; so when I use the Sdi2hd tool to extract the .sdi to my target HD; my hd has exactly the same size of the virtual drive. Is there a way or tool to extract the sdi to an HD without using the Hard disk Size?. My target HD is 20G and extracting 20G to my targed HD will take maybe a day! and I need to have an unique partition

GLopez,

You may want to consider using tools like diskpart to automate the
repartitioning/resizing your target HD (something like "diskpart extend
size=...").
For more info check diskpart documentation here

SDIMGR can be used to extract the image, and it will not effect the
harddrive size. There is also Remote Recover (www.winternals.com), which in
my opinion is better than going the SDI route.
