SDI application and maximilize windowsstate

Hi,

I have a SDI application in which i display children forms.
whem i click on my menu items, i should display the relative child form.

till now no problem. However, as my main form (SDI parent) can be
resized, i would like to display my children form in a maximilized
windowstate. this is not a problem except that it is visible when the
child form is resizing itself... and this is not nice.

i would like to be sure that when user click on menu item, automatically
the child form to display is in maximal size display and only after to
display it into my SDI parent window.

how can i ensure that (to avoid user to see the child form from being
resized) ?

i think it is what we call flickering...
