Scrolling

MSXP pro.
Recently I have noticed that when clicking on the scroll bar it moves down 2
pages at a time whereas if I click pagedown on the kb it scrolls 1 page. I
have the system properties set for best performance (ie no smooth
scrolling). It happens on all pages, not 1 particular instance.

Does anyone know how to remedy this please.

Hi,

An unfortunate result of installing update KB824145. Uninstall it through
the Control Panel/Add & Remove if it is bothersome. Microsoft is already
aware of the issue, but there is no time frame on when it is going to be
fixed.

I don't have KB824145 installed. Control Panel add/remove has KB824141 and
KB824146. Could these have anything to do with the problem ?

Hi James,

Look under C:\Windows\Inf and look for q824145.inf (must have folder
options/view set to see hidden and system files for this), if it exists, run
this from a start/run prompt:

c:\windows\ieuninst /q c:\windows\inf\q824145.inf
