I asked this question about two weeks ago and someone said the problem is
known by Microsoft.. It occurred after I downloaded the last windows
update.... wondering if there has been a fix yet.

When I boink on the down arrow the scroll works fine.
When I boink in the white space to "page down".. it goes way beyond one page
at a time.

Thanks for any news..

try turning OFF smooth scroll
Control Panel | System | Advanced | Visual Effects then scroll to near the bottom and uncheck Smooth Scroll

Hi

No news is good news? No, not in this case I think ;-)

There are several other issues with this update as well, so I am expecting it
will take some time before a new version is released (I would think they want to
be sure they do the corrections right).
