Scroll through records in form with mouse wheel - HOW??!! Access 2007

Hi,
I'm a bit new to this, but have got a small database written in Access
2003. In there, when I open a form, I can use the mouse wheel to scroll
forward/backward thorough records. Also, when I click and hold on the
next record button, it zooms through the records, allowing quite a
quick way of getting to the desired record.

Now, after installing office 2007, neither of these functions work -
the mouse wheel only work in so far as moving the form around it's
window (up and down) and clicking the next record button does nothing
unitl released, where it simply goes to the next record (which, I
suppose, is logical!).

Is there anyway to get it working as it did in Access 2003, or should I
simply uninstall and revert back to the old version?

Thanks,
Tony.

Wow,
Thanks for that - lifesaver! It's almost perfect, I just need to figure
out how to increase the repeat speed and, for some reason, it's not
showing the record number in the box, but it is navigating quite well.

Many Thanks,
Tony.

Hi again,

Just had a quick look thru the code, and there is nothing there to change
the repeat speed, I should imagine that is down to the complexity of the
forms recordsource query, or the number of controls on the form itself.
Make sure you have;
Call Me.SFfrmNavButtons.Form.EnableDisableButtons
In the forms OnCurrent event, in each form using the buttons subform in.

Hi TonyT
Thanks again, I've got this work around fixed and it's working well.
Shame about the speed thing, but it certainly helps!

Hopefully MS will address this and give an enable/disable option in
future.

Anyway, many thanks,
Tony.
