have to point at the slider bar. Keyboard commands acceptable too.

It allows you to right click and drag either up and down for vertical scroll
bars or left or right for horizontal scroll bars.

wheelmice mostly use wheelbutton down and drag

if there is only a horz then wheel down scrolls that
MS intellipoint provide so other extras

seriously, try a $5.95 wheelmouse and see if it improves your day

You should check out the program that I mentioned above - it really is an
awesome mouse utility.

I don't know if the freeware application works on XP though.
