Scroll Bar issues in IE6 - when will it be fixed

Anyone know when Microsoft plans to fix the scroll bar
that they messed up in a recent IE6.0 security update? The
issue is where clicking in the vertical scroll bar above
or below the thumb causes the screen to move more than a
page-down/page-up.

Not that I know.

Workarounds:
Click immediately under the slider.
Drag the slider.
Use the mouse wheel.
Use the Page Down and Page Up keys.

Update on this issue. Apparently this new security update will fix it.

FYI:

MS just fixed the double-scroll bug in their latest IE6 patch, released
today (KB832894).

see
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/Bulletin/MS04-004.asp

This bug fix is not documented in the patch information, but this latest
patch
silently fixes the double-scroll bug introduced in the Q824145/K824145
"update".
