Scripting in new records?!?!?!?!

Hi

Is it possible to somehow automatically open an access database, and record
the current user logged on, the computername they are on and a timestamp into
respective fields and then close/release the database.

Like a script which could automatically run when a user logs on. So it would
have to update the access database remotely too as i'm thinking about a
network environment.

Can anybody help me?!?!?!? Or am i going about this the wrong way?!?!

Thanks

Liam

I believe Windows can automatically log that stuff in the Security Event
Log. And I believe you can export the event logs to text files which you
could import into Access if you want to analyse them. I can't provide
details, but I'll bet if you asked in a Windows or networking forum you'd
find someone who could.
