script pop up

i changed a setting on IE to prompt me on script
thingies, now i cant change it back...i keep getting a
pop up saying "scripts are usually safe...do you want to
allow scripts to run? " its driving me potty, and i cant
get rid of it. please help a gal is distress.

Hi sandra :-)

Try the following and see if it helps.

Tools | Internet Options | Advanced |
Under Browsing, scroll down to Disable script debugging, CHECK the box..
Then, UNCHECK the box next to Display a notification about every script
error
Click Apply
Click OK
Close IE then reopen and try again.
