I'm running IE6 from XP and for the past few week I've been getting the
following script error for each URL I go to: "An Error has occurred in the
script on this page- do you want to continue?" If I hit yes, the site
opens- how can I correct this?

Thanks
JDW

JDW,
Most of the time this is just errors on the web site ..... not your end.
However some ad-blocking apps will cause this (script error) when the ad or
banner fails to display.

Internet Options | Advanced
Select: "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck: "Display a notification about every script error", click Apply\Ok

Verify these Registry entries exist and are correct:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Disable Script Debugger"="yes"
"Error Dlg Details Pane Open"="yes"
"Error Dlg Displayed On Every Error"="no"
"NoJITSetup"=dword:00000000
"NoWebJITSetup"=dword:00000001

Note: always Export before editing .....
[or]
Download the latest version of Windows Script 5.6 for XP\2K
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...43-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en

Try installing that and see if it helps with your problem.

.

Open up Internet Explorer and then click:

Options (in the menu bar)
Internet Options... (in the drop-down menu)
"Advanced" tab
Under the heading "Browsing" make sure the box that
says "Disable script debugging" is checked and uncheck
the box that says "Display a notification about every
script error"
