Script error

I downloaded a template that has some Javascript menus.
While trying to open it in Frontpage 2000, instead of
displaying the page properly, it gave the error, "your
browser does not support script". When viewed in IE6
browser it looks fine. Why can't I edit this file?

When you say trying to open in FP, do you mean for editing or viewing via
the Preview tab?

I have seen one DHTML Menu script that does cause errors when trying to open
the page in FP2000 for editing, and the only option was to use another
script.
