script error 29 when opening control panel

When i try to open my control panel i get a script error
29 message. this error also seems to prevent me from
entering data on web pages for purchasing products and
data entry. i have reloaded my internet software and also
reloaded explorer but this has not helped. I also ran
scandisk and defragged. please help

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"
