ScRegSetValueExW call failed

I regularly get this message in Event Viewer:

"The ScRegSetValueExW call failed for Start with the following error: Access is
denied. "

What does it mean and what should I do about it? This error does not seem to
cause my system any harm, but it would be nice to get rid of it.
