ScreenTip in the Header Row

Normally when I change the size of a column with the mouse pointer in the
header row it shows the width of the column when I am dragging the mouse.

In Excel 2007 this ScreenTip is gone on certain PC's in our institute. How
can I fix this for our users.

Choose Home, Options, on the Screen Tips Style choose the Show sytles ...

I found the solution:
This is when your “name box†in the formula bar does not show. Drag the
formula bar to the right so that the “name box†shows the name of the current
cell. Then the ScreenTip show when you adjusting the size of a row or a
column.
