Screensavers

On my older 98se, the screensavers disappeared. May have had something to
do with me purging the system of that @#$%^^& Linux system over on 'D'
drive.

I would be happy to copy one from my xp machine over to the 98.

Can anyone tell me where they hide them?

I use the simple '3d flowerbox'.

Is there a way using the cd that has 98 on it to reinstate them?

Thanks for the source. I copied 10 of them to a cd and installed them on
the 98se.

On the older 98, the system32 is much smaller but I copied them there
anyway.

The \windows\ had a reference of one that looked like a screensaver so I
also copied them there.

On properties screensaver, it is listing them (I believe from the windows
dir and not the system32 dir) but won't run the ones I installed. Maybe
because they are from the xp pro machine and won't run on 98?

There are probably several reasons that are beyond me,
such as the files from xp may be ntfs and won't work on
98 fat32. If I think of anyway around this, I will email
you. You can get just about any screen saver you want at
several internet sights, just go to google and type in
screensavers", you should get hundreds of web sites to
look at.

NTFS, sure, never thought of that.

Google has hundreds but not standard ones. Probably copyright issues.
