Is there any way to change the Windows XP screensaver
that comes on the computer when no one is logged on?
When both my husband and I are logged off, I want to have
a different screensaver come on.

Right click on your desktop/Properties/Screensaver.

You can install others other then the default ones too. Just be very
very careful where you get them from.
