Screensavers

I have Windows XP Home Edition. I have the screensaver set
to run with password protect on resume.

I downloaded a screensaver that displays a url that you can
click and it launches a web browser without requiring me to
enter a userid/password. Through the browser I then have
access to all the users files on the hard drive. If I just
touch a key to end the screensaver the login window comes
on like it should.

Sounds like a bug to me. The operating system should not
assume that third party screensavers are going to play nice
and request a login screen.

Any thoughts?

The author of your third-party screensaver found a method
to circumvent the password protection feature. If I were you,
I would delete that particular screensaver from your computer
as it poses a significant security risk.
