screensavers stopped working

all screensavers stopped working they are all on the list but will not run.

There might be something running in the background that is stopping your
screensavers from running.
all screensavers require the system to be idle, so something is making the
system active.

havnt added or changed anything preview doesnot work so I donot think
anything is running in background.

I see this a lot. It is usually caused by not turning your
computer off at night. A reboot fixes it.

If you have some coding experience you can use the example
http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?code/system/getlastinputinfo.htm to check
the system idle time. This app tells you how long the system has been idle.
This can verify whether the screensaver runs or not on being idle as expected.

I donot ever turn pc off. Have rebooted 3 times prior to asking for help.
Will check coding and get back.

I turn mine off every night, and mine went for 2 months with no working
screensaver. Then, for no good (or bad) reason, it started working again.
Every now and again, it won't work, but then later in the day it does.
Things that make you go huh!
