I'm having trouble with my screen saver, When I have music
playing and my system remains idle my screen saver does
not activate and occasionally it resets my background, if
anyone has a fix or an explanation detailing the reason
for this problem please let me know, thank you in advance.

Sounds like 2 seperate issues


1. if the system is playing music then it is not idle.

2. Resets the desktop background to what?

The background gets reset to the factory default.

What "background" are you using? If you enabled "Active Desktop" and
then that is being disabled? And then you see the underlying one? Do you
have a network connection or some other "web" based background going?
You may have some trojan running on your PC?
