I recently bought a new computer, and everything worked OK until I installed
the software for my bluetooth adapter (Belkin F8T001_v1). After that my
screensaver won't start, and the links in Outlook Express stopped working. I
have tried everything: removing the adapter, uninstalling the software,
restoring the computer to a prior date, and, of course, everything I could
find in this forum (even turning the mouse upside down!), but nothing seems
to work :-(
Any other suggestion, PLEASE !!! Thanks in advance.

Nelson.

PC Configuration: Dell 9150, P4 Processor 540 HT (3.2 GHz), 512 MB DDR2
SDRAM 533 MHz, ATI Radeon X300 SE (128 MB), HDD 160 GB, Dell 19" LCD,
Microsoft Standard Wireless Optical Combo (Keyboard + mouse), Microsoft
Windows XP SP2 Home Edition (fully updated).

Click Tools, Internet Options or Start, Settings, Control Panel, Internet Options, under Tempory
Internet Files, click "Delete Files", check "delete all offline content", click "OK", "OK",

Click Start, Run. In the run box, type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" without the quotes and press Enter.
Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools, Internet Options, "Programs" tab, and click on
"Reset Web Settings...", click "Apply", "OK"

Now try it again. If it still fails to work, then look here:

Thanks for your help, Unk, but that didn't solve the problem with the links,
and I still have the problem with the screensaver. Read elsewhere that the
problem is the wireless mouse (MS, go figure...), but my computer doesn't
even have a PS/2 port to try the solution they propose :-[.
Any other suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If you have Power DVD, try uninstalling it. It helped me
I also just installed my laser 6000 mouse
