Screensaver using My Pictures Slideshow

I am trying to use My Pictures Slideshow as a screensaver but I can't get it
to work! We have XP Office Pro 2007, would LOVE if anyone can suggest how to
overcome this problem! (We also have a wireless optical desktop 1000 keyboard
& mouse... not sure if they are causing a problem with it??)

RightClick on open area of windows screen, click "properties" and move to
"screen saver". Next to "Screen saver" click "settings". Move down to "Use
pictures in this folder" and then click "browse" and find the photos you
want. Look at all the other settings and change to whatever you want.

Please help us to help you. What does "I can't get it to work!" mean?
