screensaver setting to none not staying

Hi I set the screensaver to none in normal and safe mode but it keeps going
back to 19 mins etc.. why is this?tia
 
More than likely spyware/ malware doing this.

oops it's winxp I am talking about home addition..must've not watched where
I posted..I'll run the spyware again and do another virus scan
