Screensaver problem in XP

I set the screensaver to automatically kick on after 5 minutes. It works
perfectly fine until I turn off the computer and restart it. The
screensaver setting does not "stick". It has to be reset every time the
computer is started up. What could cause this behavior?

Thanks

After you have changed your settings in the screensaver, did you click OK?
Well that is WRONG! You must click Apply first before clicking OK to set
and save settings.

This is *not* correct. Clicking OK works just fine. The
difference between Apply and OK (almost everywhere, not just
here) is as follows:

- Apply saves the settings you've changed and keeps the dialog
box open.

- OK saves the settings you've changed and closes the dialog box.

I clicked on "Apply" and then on "OK" and I still have the problem. Any
ideas?

Thanks,
Derron

Not surprising. As I said below, you didn't need to click on
"Apply" first.

Any ideas?

Sorry, no. If I had, I would have suggested it in my earlier
post.
