Hello,

I would like to set a screensaver password for a shared computer, and I'd
like the password to be the same no matter who is logged in -- i.e. not the
password of any user's account.

It looks like this would do it (option #2).

Two options are offered for setting a password:
1) USE SYSTEM LOGIN PASSWORD: The software will expect the user to type in their login password - the same password that is used
when you log into your account. NOTE: This is the default option.
2) USE MANUAL PASSWORD: You may also choose to enter a different password manually using the configuration program.

Anyone have a better or simpler suggestion?

Thanks!
Eric

Hi Eric,

The default behavior in Windows XP and Wndows 2000 are to use the User
account password for Screen Savers. You have identified a 3rd party
workaround. This and other 3rd party screen savers provide you with this
functionality which is not available in the Core OS.
