Screensaver not working

My screen saver has recently stopped working. I can make all the necessary
settings in "Properties" and even preview the screen savers, but the screen
saver does not automatically start when it should. Any suggestion?

You may try this freeware: http://summon.co.nr
It can detect whether your screensaver has been "disabled" in real-time.
And you can enable back your screensaver with it, too.
