Screens rolls/refresh with winXP pro

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my laptop from win2000 to xp pro. I notice when i
scroll down on anything that does not fit in the screen, the screen will
'refresh' and will appear with a wave or roll of the screen when I mouse
down. This happens for example when I'm in outllook, when I mouse down the
screen to view messages, or when I'm in IE scrolling down a web page.
Perusing down a page is not a fluid action. The pages seems to be
refreshing and presentation seems to roll in from the top of the screen to
the bottom. Any thoughts as to why this maybe occurring? Thanks in advance.
 
Hi,
I'm having the exact same problems as Alister, has anyone got any tips for
me.
It does it through all programs when scolling up or down

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
