Screenprint color change?

I have screenprints from a mainframe application where the background is
black and text is green. Is there a way to change those colors so the
background is transparent or white, and the font black?
 
Not in Word, but any half decent graphics application should be able to
manage it. E.g. in SnagIt (there's a working trial) Image > Color Effects >
Monochrome the Color Effects > Invert should suffice. If not change the
green to white then invert.
